“Tango on pointe shoes" is the ballet that began the history of the Art Ballet Company.

The production tells about four fateful stories, in each of which lonely hearts are looking for a close interlocutor on their journey through life. This ballet fascinates with its sensuality and passion and has already conquered hearts of the audience, both in Ukraine and in Europe.

Closer than love

"Closer than love" is a one-act ballet, which premiered on the stage of the Kyiv Municipal Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet in 2015.The main character of the performance is Love. A powerful eternal feeling, which decides the fate of a person through the ages, and at the same time goes through its own life path. The birth of a relationship - open, sincere, carefree, like in childhood... Formation, maturity - with its priorities, roles, and disappointments.. And what remains after the death of a living feeling - desolation and fear of loneliness. Three stages of love are symbolized by three pairs of artists. Each stage of the relationship in their performance turns into an exciting story, full of deep meaning, psychological allusions and the pulsating nerve of true passion. In their dance we read the question: "What are you, real, true love? And do you exist on the Earth?"
